Job Description
Lead activation efforts in Nairobi by recruiting and training SSO and T‑Kash agents, managing stock, ensuring merchandising standards, and driving retailer awareness for SIM and float distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- SSO & Agent Recruitment & Mapping: Effectively manage identification and recruitment of agents, targeting mobile‑money outlets and high‑traffic retail stores.
- Call Rate: Visit SSOs & agents regularly using agreed route (beat) plans.
- Training and Delivery of Business Tools: Provide requisite tools for transactions at SSO & agent outlets and train SSOs and T‑Kash agents on processes.
- AML Training and Testing: Train agents on AML and SSOs on KYC processes related to SIM registration.
- Float and Stock Cover and Sales: Monitor and enforce a 1.5× stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate SIM stock for new registrations and activations.
- Merchandising: Develop and maintain merchandising standards by supplying merchandising materials at SSOs and agent outlets.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in van sales or a similar sales role.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales and distribution role in FMCG or telecommunications.
