Job Description
Fully funded 3‑6 month hybrid internship at APHRC in Nairobi, offering hands‑on research, data analysis, and policy engagement across multiple health‑related projects for recent graduates or master’s students.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with supervisors to set internship objectives and work plans.
- Support research, data analysis, and project implementation.
- Provide regular updates and contribute to reports.
- Participate in policy engagement and strategic discussions.
- Deliver at least one Brown Bag Presentation (BBP) on your work.
- Submit a final written report and feedback at the end of the internship.
Requirements
- National of a sub‑Saharan African country.
- Completed a bachelor’s degree within the last six months or currently pursuing/completing a master’s degree.
- Relevant field of study (Population Studies/Demography, Statistics/Data Science, Epidemiology/Public Health, Economics, Social Sciences, or related).
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated interest in research and development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
