Job Description

Lead regional sales strategy for Unilever Professional in Kenya, managing distributor networks, driving territory growth, overseeing team performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through market insights and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute regional sales strategies to meet and exceed business targets.
  • Ensure robust customer infrastructure, optimise quantity and quality, and monitor financial health of customers.
  • Set up and manage reseller and distributor networks within the assigned territory.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key channel partners and important customers.
  • Identify and onboard new customers and distribution partners to expand the territory.
  • Conduct market research to uncover opportunities and improve product offerings.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and reports, analysing data for trends.
  • Lead a team of Territory Sales Officers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Provide product training and support to the team on Unilever Professional range.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and customer support for seamless experiences.
  • Ensure system hygiene with Commercial & Supply Chain teams regarding returns, claims, and discounts.

Requirements

  • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent Bachelor's degree.
  • 3–5 years relevant field sales experience with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Experience in key distributor management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Brand building experience.
  • Trade category management experience.
