Job Description
Manage end‑to‑end bid and tender processes for Microsoft products, ensuring high‑quality proposals, compliance, and strategic positioning to drive growth and revenue in Kenya’s ICT sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, monitor, and lead preparation, coordination, and submission of bids, RFPs, RFQs, EOIs, ensuring compliance with technical, financial, and administrative requirements.
- Prepare compelling technical and commercial proposals for Microsoft products, collaborating with sales, technical teams, and management to craft value propositions.
- Coordinate with project teams and internal approval processes, aligning bids with product offerings, licensing models, and stakeholder requirements.
- Maintain opportunity tracking, tender calendar, and market intelligence on ICT procurement trends to support go/no‑go decisions.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft partner requirements, regulatory standards, and keep company certifications and profiles up to date.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including work outside regular hours or locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, BBIT, Computer Science, or related business field.
- 1–3 years experience as a Bid Executive in the ICT sector.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products, cloud solutions (M365, Azure), and licensing models.
- Familiarity with Kenyan procurement laws and tendering processes.
- High integrity, confidentiality, analytical mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Procurement certification (preferred).
- Experience within a Microsoft Partner ecosystem.
