Job Description

SHOFCO seeks a full‑time Brand Manager to lead internal design, maintain brand guidelines, support program teams, manage visual assets, and ensure consistent, high‑quality communications across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as SHOFCO’s primary internal designer, creating event collateral, reports, decks, campaign materials, signage, templates, and social media designs.
  • Review and approve externally produced design work to ensure brand alignment.
  • Own and maintain brand guidelines, visual identity standards, typography, and layout systems.
  • Develop and manage standardized templates (Canva, PowerPoint, report layouts) and brand request workflows.
  • Implement clear processes to reduce last‑minute design emergencies.
  • Act as final quality‑control checkpoint before materials are published.
  • Collaborate with program teams (Health, WASH, Youth, Education, Livelihoods) to embed brand planning and support events, campaigns, and launches.
  • Manage photography and video library, organizing and keywording assets for easy access.
  • Conduct brand onboarding and training sessions for new staff.
  • Support visual updates to the SHOFCO website and ensure brand consistency across digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in brand management and design leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Advanced proficiency in Canva and ability to teach it.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides.
  • Experience managing and developing brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across multiple teams.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced organizational environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a nonprofit or social impact organization.
  • Experience supporting large events and donor‑facing communications.
  • Experience building internal communications systems or design workflows.
  • Familiarity with digital asset management platforms.
