Job Description
Lead workplace banking growth by acquiring scheme companies, collaborating with relationship managers, managing portfolios, and driving sales through strategic client engagement and market analysis for increased revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Workplace Banking to achieve annual targets as outlined in the business plan.
- Sign up scheme companies within identified market opportunities, especially multinational companies and government parastatals.
- Collaborate with corporate and commercial relationship managers to identify opportunities within their portfolios.
- Proactively grow and penetrate the existing workplace banking market.
- Develop key relationships with decision‑makers and key opinion leaders within the scheme portfolio.
- Present products and sign up companies during on‑site activation to increase sales.
- Continuously manage arrears within the allocated portfolio.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or related field.
- 5‑7 years experience designing and developing client value propositions.
- Experience in personal & private banking business client distribution environment.
- Experience with data management, advanced analytics, business intelligence, and quantitative techniques.
- Proven sales track record in the financial services sector.
- Knowledge of market segmentation, value propositions, customer profiles, sales and service delivery benchmarks, competitor tactics, distribution channels, product offerings, and banking regulations.
- Ability to review portfolio profitability and understand the bank’s pricing model.
- Sound understanding of economic dynamics affecting bank operations and profitability.
