Job Description
Provide primary customer contact for an on‑demand courier app, managing live rider operations, fleet capacity, communications, and quality checks while ensuring performance KPIs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, anticipate and manage live operations to ensure a great user experience.
- Manage real‑time fleet capacity.
- Lead communication with the fleet for ongoing orders.
- Provide structured, actionable daily feedback to operations managers.
- Coordinate communication with Live Ops support, clients, couriers, and other operational departments.
- Ensure quality‑assurance checks are completed and maintained.
- Assist clients with product selection and pricing to improve transportation routes.
- Monitor deliveries, ensure customer satisfaction and maintain accurate logs of transportation and goods.
Requirements
- Alignment with company values in personal and professional life.
- Effective written and verbal English communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Google Docs and call‑center equipment/software.
- Organized, logical, adaptable to changing policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, pressured team environment and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong problem‑solving skills related to local order dispatch.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Business or Social Sciences, or equivalent work experience (6+ months).
- Previous call‑center experience (minimum 1 year) or similar role.
- Excellent English (verbal and written) and computer literacy (MS Office).
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales or marketing in a B2B environment.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing best practices; familiarity with CRM tools.
- Swahili or any other local language is an advantage.
- Preference for candidates residing along Waiyaki Way.
