Job Description
Maintain, install, and repair cooling equipment for Coca‑Cola’s bottling operations in Nairobi, ensuring reliable performance, safety compliance, and detailed documentation while supporting logistics and staff training.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on cold‑drink equipment and coolers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Install new equipment and coolers according to manufacturer specifications; ensure proper setup and calibration.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and operational compliance; document and report issues.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance; prepare and submit reports.
- Collaborate with logistics and distribution teams to coordinate maintenance and minimize disruption.
- Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.
Requirements
- Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or Mechanical Engineering (Refrigeration Option).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a technician, preferably with cold‑drink equipment or coolers in a bottling/manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cold‑drink equipment and logistics in the bottling industry.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance best practices.
- Proven preventive and corrective maintenance experience.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cooler mechanics, electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
- High accuracy in maintenance, repairs, and documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively and provide clear technical support.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and schedules.
- Efficient record‑keeping and report preparation.
