Job Description

Lead sales operations across Kiambu, Nairobi, and Nakuru, developing county strategies, managing teams, overseeing administration, and driving revenue for Scode Ltd’s renewable energy product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing marketing processes and recommend improvements
  • Develop and execute county‑level sales strategies to meet revenue targets
  • Manage county office operations, including stock reconciliation, record‑keeping, reporting and staff expense oversight
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and emerging markets
  • Recruit and train sales executives according to the sales curriculum
  • Coach and support sales team to achieve targets and ensure accurate data collection and reporting
  • Maintain high discipline and productivity among the sales team; conduct performance reviews and internal training
  • Analyze customer relations and improve service for current and new customers
  • Travel frequently to the field to monitor activities and engage with customers
  • Manage customer relationships, including addressing escalated issues

Requirements

  • Minimum three years relevant work experience, including at least one year of team‑management experience
  • Experience as a loan officer or field officer working directly with urban and peri‑urban clients (advantage)
  • Strong team‑player attitude, good listening skills, and ability to build trust and long‑lasting relationships
  • Ownership mindset, self‑driven, strategic thinker, highly organized and able to work independently toward targets
  • High ethical standards, result‑oriented, problem‑solving ability
  • Degree in Business Studies or equivalent; sales or credit experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM is a plus
