Job Description
Assist Workplace and Personal Banking teams in originating credit proposals, evaluating risk, structuring loans, and maintaining high‑quality lending assets to grow the bank’s loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk‑appropriate determination of risk grades incorporating structures, cash flows, covenants, etc.
- Determination of credit appetite, including appropriateness of proposed structure considering tenor, profile, commodity price volatilities, ranking, and concentration risk exposure.
- Identification and assessment of all pertinent risk areas together with mitigating factors.
- Understanding of underlying price sensitivities and applicable work‑out scenarios in the event of default.
- Providing innovative, solutions‑orientated lending options and managing the credit‑deal pipeline.
- Robust risk assessment of collateral, capital use, and risk/return.
- Thorough understanding of the underlying industries and state of the economy.
- Experience in credit monitoring (existing security, excesses, security cover ratios, collateral management reports, etc.).
- Proven credit analysis skills with the ability to analyse a credit application’s risk and benefit parameters and present a sound business justification for the requested facility.
Requirements
- 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Commerce, Finance & Accounting or any other related field.
