Job Description
Experienced Delivery Rider/Driver needed for a small food processing firm in Nairobi, handling motorbike and car deliveries, maintaining records, ensuring vehicle upkeep, and meeting health standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers in Nairobi and surrounding areas in a timely and accurate manner.
- Run company motorbike errands as assigned by the team supervisor.
- Maintain delivery records and provide proof of delivery.
- Collect raw products from suppliers outside Nairobi using a car on a weekly basis.
- Liaise with supermarket staff for order pickups.
- Ensure both motorbike and car are kept in good mechanical condition.
- Keep accurate daily mileage logs for both vehicles.
- Represent the company courteously and professionally with customers and stakeholders.
- Maintain high personal hygiene to meet Ministry of Health food‑handling standards.
- Keep licences, personal accident insurance, and food‑handling certificate up‑to‑date.
- Follow company SOPs for incident reporting.
- Be flexible to perform other roles as required by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Form Four graduate
- Minimum age of 26 years
- Valid Category A2 motorcycle licence (NTSA)
- Valid Class B car licence (NTSA)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience delivering goods to homes and supermarket stores
