Job Description
The Kenya Institute for the Blind seeks a qualified driver to transport staff, students, and equipment, ensuring safe, reliable travel for its visual‑impairment services and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport institute staff, students, and equipment to designated locations
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations and institute policies
- Plan routes and adhere to schedules for timely arrivals
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly
Requirements
- Valid Kenyan driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Minimum two years professional driving experience
- Knowledge of local road networks and traffic laws

- Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs
