Job Description
Designs and implements electrical systems, leads projects, conducts testing and inspections, and provides technical support and leadership for container conversion and modular building projects in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems
- Schedule electrical construction and maintenance projects
- Review electrical engineering plans, specifications, and reports
- Conduct tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians
- Repair and perform quality control of electrical equipment
- Provide electrical engineering support to assigned projects
- Provide technical leadership to employees and contractors
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as an electrical engineer and in electrical systems design
- Familiarity with electrical systems and equipment
- Understanding of electrical engineering safety standards
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Strong multitasking skills
