Job Description
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and cash management for a transport company, ensuring compliance, audit support, vendor payments, payroll, and implementation of robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic financial planning and budgeting
- Daily posting and reporting to management
- Update and secure funds for compliance
- Monitor and control daily expenditures
- Manage payroll functions
- Process vendor payments and manage vendors
- Handle cash management including petty cash
- Generate and submit financial reports
- File bills and vouchers
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws
- Bookkeeping, ledger management, posting in QuickBooks
- Prepare and follow‑up on Statement of Account emails and hard copies
- Implement prudent financial controls and risk‑management procedures
- Collaborate on finance system policies and procedures
- Post received amounts and client SOA in ERP
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related fields
- CPA qualification (mandatory)
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience, preferably in the transport industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Audit experience (added advantage)
- Excellent managerial skills
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- High work ethic
- Problem analysis and solving skills
- High level of computer literacy
