Job Description

Support forensic investigations and apply advanced data analytics to detect fraud, analyze trends, and produce reports, while maintaining evidence integrity and contributing to risk management at Jubilee Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of fraud risk management initiatives with investigative and data‑driven input
  • Analyze fraud trends and patterns using structured datasets
  • Develop and refine fraud analytics dashboards, scripts, and monitoring tools
  • Plan and execute forensic investigations into suspected fraud or misconduct
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify anomalies and suspicious transactions
  • Prepare working papers, analytical summaries, and draft investigation reports
  • Support loss quantification through data modelling and reconciliation techniques
  • Maintain case management system and investigation trackers with analytical outputs
  • Assist in reviewing CCTV footage, access logs, and other security system outputs
  • Contribute to identifying control weaknesses and systemic gaps

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Criminology, Forensic Science, or related field
  • Strong analytical capability and experience with academic research or data projects
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced), Power BI, SQL, Python or similar analytical tools
  • Ability to extract, clean, transform, and analyze structured datasets
  • Understanding of fraud detection methodologies and investigative processes
  • Strong report writing and structured documentation skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Effective communication, time management, and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant data‑analytics certifications (e.g., Power BI, Google Data Analytics, IBM Data Analyst, Tableau, SQL/Python)
  • Professional certification such as CFE (in progress or demonstrated interest)
  • Exposure to fraud, audit, investigation, risk, or security‑related coursework or projects
  • Experience with forensic case studies, audit analytics, or internship programmes involving data interrogation
