Job Description
Provide night‑shift intake care, handling guarantees of payment, analyzing medical requests, communicating with providers, translating documents, and supporting the Integrated Health Team for international organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Member of the Integrated Health Team serving International Organisations across multiple global locations.
- Send Guarantees of Payment to hospitals, confirming admission length, treatment, and insured amount.
- Analyse medical treatment and hospitalisation requests, verify coverage and costs.
- Monitor cases administratively and cooperate with Care Coordinators and Case Managers.
- Communicate frequently with medical providers and insured individuals by phone to obtain required information.
- Act as primary contact for hospitals regarding questions about Guarantees of Payment.
- Translate and interpret medical and other relevant documents for case analysis.
- Work independently and effectively with internal and external customers via telephone and e‑mail.
- Maintain accurate workflow and process documentation following outlined procedures.
Requirements
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) and proficiency in at least one additional language (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
- Customer‑focused attitude with ability to find optimal solutions.
- Disciplined approach: follow procedures, agreements and documentation flows correctly.
- Computer‑literate; quick to learn Cigna’s international in‑house systems and standard office applications.
- Analytical mindset, accurate and independent work style.
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle stress and work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical environment is a plus but not required.
