Job Description

Manage accurate inventory records, analyze stock levels, enforce FEFO, reconcile daily movements, oversee SAP postings, conduct monthly stock‑takes, and drive continuous improvement to minimize stock‑outs and excess inventory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and reconcile daily inventory movements across all sections.
  • Prepare and submit consolidated daily inventory reconciliation reports.
  • Ensure all physical stock transactions are accurately posted in SAP daily.
  • Enforce FEFO (First Expiry First Out) principles to minimise expiries and losses.
  • Validate system stock status, including committed and ordered quantities.
  • Investigate and follow up on inventory variances, providing justified explanations.
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee monthly stock‑takes and variance reporting.
  • Promote food safety, quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
  • Support continuous improvement in inventory control and stock optimisation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • 3‑5 years’ experience in inventory management, preferably in an FMCG environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP and inventory control systems.
  • Technical knowledge of spare parts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification in Inventory Management (advantageous).
