Job Description
The Management Accountant will lead budgeting, prepare monthly accounts, develop financial models, conduct profitability analysis, maintain KPI dashboards, support cost control, and ensure audit compliance for Achelis Material Handling in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor performance against approved budgets.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and management reports.
- Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Conduct profitability analysis across product lines, revenue streams, and divisions.
- Maintain KPI dashboards to track financial and operational performance.
- Support cost control initiatives, working capital management, and strengthen internal controls.
- Coordinate annual audits and ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable tax regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
- 5-7 years' experience in financial analysis, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP experience is an added advantage).
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP experience is an added advantage.
