Job Description
Manage manufacturing data and inventory using SAGE MRP, generate reports, support production planning, ensure quality compliance, and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced label manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management & MRP Administration: capture and process manufacturing data (assemblies) in the SAGE MRP system, ensure data accuracy, maintain records, generate production reports, manage work orders.
- Inventory Management: conduct monthly stock counts, manage finished‑goods store, monitor and flag aged stock, maintain accurate stock records in SAGE, coordinate stock movements, identify slow‑moving items.
- Production Planning Support: provide real‑time finished‑goods stock information, link inventory data with production planning, coordinate material availability, assist scheduling, provide stock analysis.
- Quality & Compliance: ensure data integrity, maintain audit‑ready documentation, support quality initiatives, adhere to GMP and safety standards.
- Reporting & Analysis: prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports, analyse stock movement trends, identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions, support cost analysis and strategic planning.
- Continuous Improvement: identify process improvement opportunities, support lean manufacturing, contribute to cost reduction, participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: coordinate with production, procurement, warehouse, customer service, quality control, and finance teams; provide stock availability information; assist with inventory valuation and month‑end closing.
- Additional Duties: perform any other tasks as required by management.
Requirements
- BA/BSc/HND or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years manufacturing experience, preferably in print/packaging.
- Strong proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (SAGE preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical ability with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Understanding of inventory management and warehousing best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and 5S.
- Familiarity with GMP and safety standards.
- Experience with cost analysis and strategic planning.
