Job Description
Lead demand creation and digital‑first marketing for Pepsodent power brand in Kenya, translating strategy into plans, managing campaigns, assets, budgets, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate the Pepsodent brand strategic vision into comprehensive Power Brand Marketing Plans for the Kenyan market and ensure effective implementation.
- Lead and inspire the market Demand Creation agenda, setting ambitious annual OKRs for Power Brand Demand Creation Squads and delivering them in quarterly iterations.
- Develop and execute Direct‑to‑Consumer strategies and roll‑out global brand innovations at the market level.
- Ensure quality and consistency of execution across all touchpoints, including in‑store.
- Collaborate with Business Group/Design Market to create impactful brand assets, compelling content, and amplify messaging across digital and retail platforms.
- Drive all marketing activities focused on digital consumer demand creation, including brand activation, consumer insights, data analytics, content development, strategic partnerships, and in‑market experiential events.
- Lead the Digital Marketing agenda for the power brand, planning and delivering seamless, engaging digital consumer experiences and campaigns.
- Work with the DMC Lead and CMI Lead to test and produce assets, collect market insights, and drive media/digital communication.
- May also act as Power Brand leader for the EWA region in addition to primary market responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of marketing experience, with at least 4+ years in demand creation, brand building and digital marketing within consumer goods.
- Proven demand‑creation leadership in consumer goods sector.
- Strong strategic planning and execution ability delivering integrated marketing plans.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing channels (social media, influencer, content, SEO, paid advertising).
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with customer development, R&D, finance and creative agencies.
- Budget management skills with experience tracking ROI and optimizing campaign spend.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BSc/HND (or equivalent)
