Job Description
PlantVillage+ seeks a motivated Mycology Intern in Kenya to support fungi research, soil health, and sustainable agriculture, assisting the mycology program with hands‑on work and independent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the growing mycology program with hands‑on tasks
- Conduct fungi research related to soil health
- Assist sustainable agriculture initiatives for smallholder farmers
- Work independently on assigned projects
- Collaborate with team members and communicate findings
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Willingness to work in Tala, Machakos County
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently
