Job Description
Seeking skilled Nail Technician to deliver manicures, pedicures, eyebrow shaping, facial scrubs, and basic makeup, ensuring high hygiene standards and excellent client service at D&M Luxe Nails in Kitale.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicures, pedicures and scrubbing.
- Apply gel polish, regular polish, gum gel, stick‑on tips.
- Maintain nail tools and equipment according to hygiene standards.
- Advise clients on proper nail care and maintenance.
- Perform eyebrow shaping, including henna application.
- Perform basic facial scrubbing/exfoliation treatments.
- Provide basic makeup application for clients when required (advantage).
- Welcome and consult clients to understand their preferences and needs.
- Keep workspace clean, hygienic and organized; sanitize tools per salon standards.
- Promote and recommend salon services and products when appropriate.
Requirements
- Certification or training in nail technology or beauty therapy (advantage).
- Experience in manicure and pedicure services.
- Ability to perform eyebrow shaping and basic facial scrubs.
- Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards.
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Friendly, professional, detail‑oriented attitude.
- Preferred (not mandatory): experience in basic makeup application.
Preferred Qualifications
- KCSE (preferred)
- Nail art proficiency
- Strong hygiene and sanitation practices
- Good hand coordination and precision
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
