Job Description
Lead the design and execution of end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash processes, manage high‑volume order fulfillment, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and develop a high‑performing fulfillment team in Nairobi while ensuring OTIF performance against KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the Order‑to‑Cash process, establish procedures, workflows, governance, approval cycles, KPIs and lead transition to a third‑party warehousing provider.
- Manage high‑volume orders, serve as primary customer liaison, ensure OTIF delivery, handle returns and coordinate credit approvals with Finance.
- Coordinate with Sales, Demand & Supply Planning, Operations and third‑party partners to align priorities, process, stage, dispatch orders and track proof of delivery.
- Oversee order entry, validation, export documentation and invoicing; maintain accurate records in ERP (Oracle/SAP).
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Order Fulfillment specialists, monitor performance, distribute workload and foster a customer‑centric culture.
- Track and report OTIF, order accuracy and other KPIs; identify gaps, implement process improvements and produce activity reports using ERP data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years progressive experience in Order‑to‑Cash, Customer Service or Supply Chain Operations; FMCG background mandatory.
- Proven ability to build processes/functions from scratch in a greenfield or startup environment.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, Letters of Credit and freight forwarding protocols for export order management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems; Oracle or SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent project‑management, communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience coordinating with third‑party warehouses and logistics partners.
