Job Description
The PR Associate will coordinate media outreach, draft press releases, create social content, support events and campaigns, conduct research, monitor coverage, and contribute to PR strategy for a leading African IMC firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate media outreach and strengthen relationships with journalists
- Draft press releases and other communication materials
- Create content for social media and integrated communication channels
- Assist in planning and executing events, activations, and PR campaigns
- Conduct media and industry research to identify trends and opportunities
- Monitor media coverage and support campaign reporting and performance analysis
- Contribute ideas for PR strategy development
Requirements
- BA/BSc/HND or equivalent degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred fields of study: Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing (currently studying or recent graduate)
