Job Description
Lead operational process excellence at Sun King, analyzing workflows across warehousing, inventory, procurement and logistics to drive efficiency, reduce costs, implement SOPs, and deliver data‑driven improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review operational workflows across warehousing, inventory management, procurement, and logistics; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Lead structured process improvement initiatives to simplify workflows, reduce costs, improve cycle times, and strengthen controls.
- Develop and implement scalable SOPs and playbooks for consistent application across locations and markets.
- Test, implement, and evaluate improvements with operations teams, ensuring adoption.
- Document processes with SOPs, process maps, and control checklists.
- Strengthen operational controls such as inventory reconciliation, stock handovers, and system‑to‑physical stock alignment.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Support audit and compliance by aligning processes with company policies and internal controls.
- Gather and interpret operational data; develop dashboards and reports tracking KPIs.
- Provide data‑backed insights for planning and continuous improvement.
- Prepare clear reports and presentations communicating findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Track and report progress of improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and technical teams to translate needs into system or process improvements.
- Integrate continuous improvement practices into daily workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4–6 years experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, consulting, or process improvement roles.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical improvements.
- Experience in process mapping, requirements gathering, and working with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management approaches (Agile, Waterfall, or similar).
- Working knowledge of supply chain and operations processes (warehousing, procurement, logistics, inventory management).
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and data visualization platforms.
- Experience with ERP or operational systems used for supply chain, inventory, or logistics management.
- Ability to work with complex datasets, generate insights, and present findings clearly to varied stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to translate operational topics into structured insights and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI‑enabled tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or similar project management methodologies.
