Job Description
Procurement Officer needed to source, negotiate, and manage interior finishing materials, ensure ethical compliance, coordinate with project teams, and maintain accurate BOQs and cost controls for construction projects in Nairobi.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and negotiate finishing materials.
- Manage procurement processes and ensure compliance with ethical and financial standards.
- Coordinate with project teams (Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Finance) to control stage‑by‑stage spending.
- Maintain accurate BOQs, material take‑offs, and cost structures throughout projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in construction or interior finishing projects.
- Strong understanding of BOQs, material take‑offs, and project cost structures.
- Proven experience sourcing and negotiating finishing materials such as gypsum, tiles, plumbing, electrical, joinery, etc.
- Ability to coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Finance teams.
- Commitment to procurement ethics, compliance, and financial discipline.
