Job Description

Lead regional sales for a bakery-focused company in Kenya, developing strategies, managing a sales team, building client relationships, and driving revenue while overseeing budgets and market analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, identify growth opportunities, and set sales goals.
  • Manage, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring excellent service.
  • Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and establish partnerships or distribution channels.
  • Monitor sales metrics, manage inventory levels, and collaborate with production teams to optimize stock and profitability.
  • Manage regional sales budgets, track performance, and provide regular reports on market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or a Diploma with a relevant certification.
  • Proven experience in sales management with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the food industry and bakery products is an added advantage.
