Job Description
Drive wholesale cereal sales in Kenya by developing territory strategies, managing distributor relationships, expanding accounts, and meeting monthly targets through data‑driven field sales and pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Grow and manage relationships with food distributors, supermarket procurement teams and HoReCa buyers.
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners and retail accounts.
- Manage and grow an active sales pipeline independently.
- Conduct regular field visits to distributors, supermarkets, and HoReCa clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements.
- Prepare sales reports and performance tracking using Excel and CRM tools.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and account reconciliation.
- Provide data‑driven sales insights to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Agribusiness or Food Science, OR Diploma/Professional Certification in Sales or Supply Chain.
- 2–4 years hands‑on field sales experience in FMCG/Food products.
- Direct selling exposure to food distributors, supermarket procurement teams or HoReCa buyers.
- Strong understanding of Kenya’s food market and cereals distribution networks.
- Demonstrated evidence of growing territory sales, independently managing a sales pipeline and meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
- Computer literacy mandatory; proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems and mobile sales reporting tools.
