Job Description

Lead the sales team at Radisson Hotel Group’s Nairobi hotel, driving revenue, ensuring guest satisfaction, and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture while managing initiatives, costs, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the smooth running of the sales department, delivering proactive sales initiatives and maximizing total revenue.
  • Work as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction, providing timely responses to enquiries and problem resolution.
  • Take responsibility for assigned duties and tasks, ensuring work is carried out professionally and on time.
  • Deliver on departmental plans and objectives, achieving hotel initiatives and targets.
  • Collaborate with immediate reports to control costs and inventory, attain productivity and performance levels, and build effective working relationships while promoting company culture and values.
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, planning, delivering, and documenting due‑diligence and best‑practice activities for internal and external audit, with follow‑up as required.

Requirements

  • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hands‑on approach with a can‑do work style

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales experience (beneficial but not essential)
  • Experience working with IT systems on various platforms
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of duties and tasks
  • Personal integrity and ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
