Job Description
Lead and coach a sales team in Nairobi, driving volume, revenue, and market‑share for Tropikal Spaces by managing trade execution, distribution, collections, and performance within the General Trade channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise Sales Representatives
- Deliver territory sales targets (volume, revenue, collections)
- Drive numeric and weighted distribution
- Monitor stock levels and minimise out‑of‑stock situations
- Implement trade‑marketing initiatives in the assigned region
- Ensure route discipline and daily sales reporting
- Manage debtor days and credit control within the territory
- Conduct regular market audits and competitor analysis
- Drive team capability development and performance reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 4–5 years’ FMCG sales experience
- At least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of General Trade route‑to‑market
- Valid driving licence (motorbike/car, depending on territory)
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- High accountability and target orientation
