Job Description

Lead and coach a sales team in Nairobi, driving volume, revenue, and market‑share for Tropikal Spaces by managing trade execution, distribution, collections, and performance within the General Trade channel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and supervise Sales Representatives
  • Deliver territory sales targets (volume, revenue, collections)
  • Drive numeric and weighted distribution
  • Monitor stock levels and minimise out‑of‑stock situations
  • Implement trade‑marketing initiatives in the assigned region
  • Ensure route discipline and daily sales reporting
  • Manage debtor days and credit control within the territory
  • Conduct regular market audits and competitor analysis
  • Drive team capability development and performance reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ FMCG sales experience
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of General Trade route‑to‑market
  • Valid driving licence (motorbike/car, depending on territory)
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • High accountability and target orientation
