Job Description
Inspired Education seeks qualified full‑time Art and English & Literature teachers for Nairobi school, requiring a degree, British curriculum experience, and ability to deliver differentiated lessons and integrate technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structured programmes of study with clear aims, objectives and differentiation for varying abilities
- Create and deliver lesson plans
- Mark class work and homework; assess achievement according to Faculty policy
- Contribute to curriculum development and integrate elements of the British National Curriculum
- Include information‑technology components in schemes of work in consultation with IT staff
- Attend meetings, including parent‑consultation meetings, as required
- Participate in the duty rota and cover for absent colleagues
- Invigilate examinations when needed
- Uphold the school’s philosophy and ethics in teaching
- Promote the school’s image
- Perform any other duties assigned by senior management
Requirements
- BA/BSc/HND or equivalent qualification
- Relevant teaching experience in a British curriculum school for the 2026/2027 academic year
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in the appropriate subject (Art or English/Literature)
- Passion for education, innovation and technology
- Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
- Proven classroom practitioner ensuring good progress for all students
