Job Description
Lead Techhub operations, coordinate technology projects, provide IoT and data support, develop training materials, and foster innovation to enhance conservation, efficiency, and community engagement at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing technology‑driven projects; maintain project documentation and monitor timelines.
- Provide technical assistance for setting up, testing, and deploying IoT devices, sensors, and data‑collection tools; integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Support daily Techhub operations, maintain equipment, coordinate logistics, and help organise events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Support data collection, storage, and analysis; ensure data accuracy and present findings to stakeholders.
- Develop user guides, manuals, and training materials; deliver basic training and technical support to staff and community members.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to promote knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices; suggest new tools, processes, and ideas for continuous improvement of the Techhub.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in technology support, project coordination, or innovation roles.
- Strong technical skills in hardware setup, software deployment, and data management.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT, AI, and data analytics.
- Excellent organisational, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in enterprise IT, data management, or related technology fields are advantageous.
