Job Description
Provides technical sales support for stone paving, driving project acquisition, preparing quotations, negotiating pricing, coordinating delivery, and maintaining client relationships while delivering market intelligence and after‑sales service.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively pursue, convert, and close projects in line with established sales targets.
- Provide detailed product information to customers, ensuring they understand features and benefits.
- Negotiate product pricing and terms with potential customers, adhering to company pricing policies.
- Prepare accurate quotations based on technical requirements and project specifications.
- Follow up with customers on quotations to ensure timely closure and address questions.
- Collaborate with finance to confirm client payments and provide invoicing support.
- Work with dispatch to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular field visits in the assigned region to identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Make after‑sales calls to assess client satisfaction.
- Provide technical support when necessary.
- Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting business relationships with clients in the assigned region.
- Address and resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct market intelligence activities to gather competitor insights.
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports and weekly pipeline updates.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the building and construction industry and/or FMCG environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex technical products clearly.
- Solid understanding of technical products and services, particularly in construction or related industries.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams such as finance, dispatch, and management.
