Job Description
Maintain and enhance existing travel websites, develop responsive designs, implement new site features, and gather requirements, using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, Laravel, and WordPress, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new website designs for mobile and desktop versions of a travel website.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing websites.
- Gather and document requirements for new systems or new functionality.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven experience in web development.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and PHP 7.0/7.1.
- Experience with PHP frameworks, especially Laravel.
- Expertise in WordPress installation, customization of themes and plugins.
- Ability to develop responsive designs (mandatory).
- Experience with MySQL or similar databases.
- Strong data structures and algorithm design skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and good problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with web development tools/libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS (advantage).
- Basic JavaScript & jQuery programming skills.
- Basic knowledge of Java EE (J2EE) is a bonus.
- Basic graphic‑design skills using Adobe XD, Photoshop or Illustrator.
- Basic understanding of SEO processes.
- Knowledge of cross‑browser compatibility issues and work‑arounds.
